The Bogolan  compilation

In the first document, we show the importance of our project and we fetch to put in front of the still existing values in this african studio:
- The memory of the one who created the studio Bogolan, Ali Farka Touré
- The complicities between the musicians and the artists during the recordings
- the bonds of friendship, very strong, created during these ten years between the artists and the Studio Bogolan.
 The artists answered spontaneously to our wishes of realization of 2 CD and DVD.An exhaustive list of the artist will be the subject of the third document.

Let us remember ourselves! Bogolan comes from Bambara, of bogo (earth) and of lan (through) The bogolan tissue is an ancestral tissue of ornament with animistic ideograms. It is dyed with a decoction of leaves of ngalama and it is dried in the sun. The painter, then, draws with a brush, his symbolism.
